Common questions

Sharing from another app didn't add the item.

Make sure you're signed in to Gyft2go on this device. Some retailers block automated reads; if the item title shows the host name, the parser fell back to a basic read — you can edit the title from Home → tap the gift.

How do I add a friend?

Explore tab → top-right + button. You can type their phone number, scan their QR code, or (if you've enabled contact discovery in Settings) find friends from your address book.

How do Close Friends work?

Each gift has a list — Friends or Close Friends. A friend only sees Close‑Friends items if you've toggled them as a Close Friend in your Profile.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → ⚙️ Settings → Delete account. See the Delete account page for what gets removed.

Can I change the language?

Settings → Language → English / العربية. The change applies on the next app launch.
